Emmanuel Hele is a multidisciplinary artist residing in Portland, OR, USA. His art is informed by a lifetime of exploration, from childhood travel, through an adolescence on the fringe, into a digital adulthood.​

He graduated from Fresno City College’s 3D and 2D art programs in 2005, with emphases on bronze casting and oil painting. In 2010, he received his Oregon tattoo license. He began working at Rosewater Tattoo in 2015. Throughout his tattoo career he has remained active in other artistic disciplines, and has continued to exhibit his art in group and solo exhibitions.

Hele’s current body of mixed media work integrates his disparate life experiences with his art, by utilizing materials collected during explorations and techniques culled from decades of artistic experimentation.
